Ingredients

For the Milkshake:

45ml Snowflake Custard Powder

45ml castor sugar

500ml full cream milk

2 cups chocolate ice cream

1 cup full cream milk

1 heaped tsp cocoa powder

1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

For the Icing:

1/4 cup melted chocolate

Chocolate sprinkles or shavings

For Garnish:

Whipped cream

Manhattan speckled eggs

Additional chocolate shavings

Method

    For the Rim:

  • Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 15-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  • Dip the rim of your glass into the melted chocolate, then immediately coat it with chocolate sprinkles or shavings. Set aside to let it harden.

  • For the Milkshake:

  • Mix the Snowflake Custard Powder, sugar & 50ml milk in a small bowl.
  • Add the remaining 450ml milk into a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  • Add the custard mix to the milk and stir thoroughly with a whisk.
  • Bring to a boil while stirring continuously.
  • Remove from heat and stir for another minute until mixture is smooth and allow to cool completely.
  • In a blender, combine the ice cream, custard, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy. Adjust consistency with more milk if needed.

  • Assemble the Milkshake:

  • Pour the milkshake into the prepared glass.
  • Top the milkshake with a generous swirl of whipped cream.
  • Decorate with speckled chocolate eggs and sprinkle with additional chocolate shavings.
