Cheesy Garlic Pull-Apart Bread

Ingredients

For the Dough:

3 cups Snowflake cake flour

1 tbsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

1 cup plain yogurt (or buttermilk)

2 tbsp melted butter

For the Filling:

100 g unsalted butter (about 7 tbsp)

2 cloves garlic, finely minced

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

½ tsp salt

Method

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a loaf tin or line with baking paper.
  • Make the dough:

  • In a large bowl, whisk together Snowflake flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add yogurt and melted butter. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  • Knead lightly on a floured surface for 2–3 minutes until smooth.

  • Prepare garlic butter:

  • Melt butter and stir in garlic, parsley, and salt.

  • Shape and layer:

  • Roll dough into a rectangle and cut into squares or strips.
  • Dip each piece in garlic butter and layer in the tin, sprinkling cheese between layers.

  • Top and bake:

  • Pour any remaining garlic butter over the top.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and cheese is bubbling.
  • (Serve warm and pull apart to enjoy)
