Gingerbread Cookies

Preparation Time: 5 minutes | Cook Time: 15 minutes


Ingredients

For the Gingerbread Cookies:

2 and 2/3 cups Snowflake Cake Wheat Flour

1 Large Egg

2 tbsp Water

1 sp Bicarbonate of Soda

2 sp Ground Ginger

Method

  • Preheat oven to 180℃
  • Cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.These ingredients are missing in the ingredients required. Mix in molasses, egg and water and beat.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together remaining ingredients then beat into creamed mixture to form a dough.
  • Divide dough in half. Shape each into a flattened disk and warp in cling film, then refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll each portion of dough to 3-5mm thick. Cut into shapes with a floured. gingerbread man cookie cutter.
  • Place 4-5cm apart on greased baking sheets.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes, until the edges are firm, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
  • Frost and decorate!
