Butter biscuits with chocolate

 



Preparation Time: 25 minutes

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Serves: Makes: 20

A moreish, nibbly snack that’s a dream to whip up.

Ingredients

125g butter or margarine, softened

60ml icing sugar, sifted

375ml Snowflake Self Raising Wheat Flour

1ml salt

10ml milk

Method

  • Cream the butter and icing sugar together. Sift the flour and salt together. Add to butter mixture with the milk and mix into a firm dough.
  • Roll the dough into teaspoon-size balls and place onto greased baking trays, leaving enough space for spreading. Press down lightly with a fork.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for about 20 mins. Turn out onto wire racks to cool.
  • Use a fork to drizzle cooled biscuits with melted chocolate. Leave on wire racks to set.
