Cadbury fingers

Butter biscuit covered in chocolate.

Ingredients

500ml Snowflake Cake Wheat Flour

160ml (2/3 cup) icing sugar

1ml salt

180g (3/4 cup) butter, room temperature

200g Cadbury milk chocolate

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Cream butter.
  • Sift together dry ingredients (flour, sugar, and salt).
  • Mix the dry ingredients and butter until it forms a dough.
  • Turn out the ball of dough onto a floured surface and roll out into a rectangle about a cm thick.
  • Square off the edges of your dough and cut finger-sized sticks out of the dough with a pizza cutter or sharp knife.
  • Place the fingers on a baking sheet and bake for approximately 10 mins on the middle rack, or until lightly brown.
  • Cool the fingers and melt the chocolate in the microwave in a microwaveable bowl.
  • Using a fork, dip fingers into the chocolate.
  • Allow excess chocolate to drip off the finger.
  • Place the fingers on a baking sheet lined with wax paper and leave chocolate to set.
