Cake pops

Serves: Makes about 30

This tasty cake pop recipe is great for making cake pops in all shapes and sizes. A fun party favor for any celebration.

Ingredients

2  layers hot milk sponge cake (about 900 g)

1  quantity butter icing

300g white or dark chocolate, melted

30  Wooden sticks

Method

  • Place sponge cake into a food processor and make crumbs. Add icing, mix well and roll heaped tablespoons full of mixture into balls.
  • Insert sticks into pops and dip balls into melted chocolate to coat. Decorate as preferred.
