Cinnamon scones with a crunch

 



Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 25-30 minutes

Serves: 6

The result is a scone that is buttery on the inside and deliciously sweet and crunchy on the outside. The cinnamon sugar is an absolute flavour bomb.

Ingredients

500g Snowflake Easymix Scone

50g Castor Sugar

15ml Ground Cinnamon

2  extra-large eggs

100ml cooking oil

160ml milk

1  extra-large egg for glazing

160ml milk for glazing

Method

  • Preheat oven to 180°.
  • Mix castor sugar and tablespoon of cinnamon sugar together and keep aside.
  • Place easymix into a mixing bowl
  • Lightly beat eggs, oil and milk. Add to easymix and mix until a soft dough is formed. Do not over mix
  • Place dough on a greased baking tray and shape into a large circle.
  • Beat egg, mix with 125ml milk and brush to coat the scones before baking. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and bake for 25-30 minutes.
