Classic Scones

 



Preparation Time: 5 Minutes

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Serves: Makes 12 regular scones

There’s nothing like this all-time-favourite!

Ingredients

500g Snowflake Easymix Classic Scone Mix

2  extra large eggs

100ml cooking oil

160ml milk

1  egg / 125 milk for glazing

Method

  • Preheat oven to 200ºC.
  • Place Easymix into a mixing bowl.
  • Lightly beat eggs, oil and milk. Add to Easymix and mix until a soft dough is formed. Do not over mix.
  • Flatten or roll out onto a lightly floured surface to a thickness of 20mm.
  • Cut out scones with a 6cm scone cutter
  • Place onto a greased baking tray. Brush with beaten egg or milk to glaze scones
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until light golden brown.

Who doesn't love scones, these are a gift from heaven, all you can ever want in a scone is found in this mix, arguably the best scones I have personally made and tasted and will continue to devour for a very long time.
