Our delightfully light and delicious chocolate loaf with its rich, glossy chocolate glaze is the ultimate teatime treat.

Ingredients

For the chocolate bread

50g plant butter

200ml almond milk / coconut milk / soya milk

300g Snowflake Creations Saucy Chocolate Pudding Mix

For the vegan chocolate glaze

150g chocolate sauce mix

80ml almond milk / coconut milk / soya milk

60g chocolate chips

Method

  • First bake the bread…
  • Preheat the oven to 180C
  • Melt plant butter and almond milk (or coconut milk / soya milk) together and mix into the pudding mix
  • Pour batter into a greased 6 x 20 cm loaf tin
  • Bake for about 20-25 minutes, then cool the loaf down completely
  • …then make the glaze
  • Add chocolate sauce mix and almond milk (or coconut / soya milk) to a pot
  • Bring to boil
  • Stir continuously for about 5 minutes
  • Add chocolate chips, stir to melt and combine
  • Pour the glaze over the cooled loaf
