Flapjacks

Whip up flapjacks for breakfast with a super easy and scrumptious recipe. What better way to start the day? This EasyMix batter can be used to make waffles. Use 125ml (1/2 cup) of the flapjack batter to fill the waffle maker.

Ingredients

500g Snowflake Easymix Flapjack

2  eggs

30ml cooking oil

500ml milk

30ml Cooking oil or butter for frying

Method

  • Place Easymix in a mixing bowl.
  • Lightly beat eggs, oil and milk. Add to Easymix and mix with a whisk until batter is smooth with no lumps. Batter should be thick.
  • Allow mixture to stand for 30 mins before use. Batter can stand overnight.
  • Lightly oil and heat a frying pan.
  • Spoon about 30ml for each flapjack.
  • Fry the flapjacks until they bubble and the bottom turns golden brown.
  • Turn the flapjack over and fry the other side.
