Fruit sauce

 



Preparation Time: 15 Minutes

Cook Time: 20 Minutes

Serves: Makes about 375ml

Serve with baked puddings.

Ingredients

500g fresh fruit, such as strawberries or peaches, coarsely chopped

125ml (105 g) castor sugar

15ml fresh lemon juice

Method

  • Mix fruit and sugar. Add lemon juice and simmer for about 1 minute until soft. Puree in blender. Leave to cool and serve with ice cream.
