Glace icing

 



Preparation Time: 10 Minutes

Cook Time: 0 Minutes

Serves: Covers 1 cake

Perfect for pouring over cookies or topping off your freshly baked cake.

Ingredients

250ml (130 g) icing sugar

30ml warm water

2ml vanilla essence or fresh lemon juice

Few drops of food colouring

Method

  • Sift icing sugar and add just enough water to mix to a smooth, runny consistency. Add essence and colouring.
  • Pour icing over top of cake and leave to set.
