Round bran bread

 



Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 45 minutes

Serves: Makes 1 loaf

The only thing better than making your own bread, is easily making your very own bran bread.

Ingredients

500g Snowflake Easymix bran muffin

80ml cooking oil

60ml milk or water

2  extra-large eggs

Method

  • Place premix into a mixing bowl. Lightly beat eggs, oil and milk together. Add to premix and mix with a spoon until just combined.
  • Turn out mixture onto a lightly floured surface and shape into one round ball. Place onto a greased baking tray. Flatten slightly to about 20 cm in diameter. Mark into eight wedges by cutting into dough.
  • Dust with extra flour and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for about 45 minutes.
  • Serve with butter and cheese or jam.
